Lentz to Direct 2010 Summer Musical

Lakeshore Productions, Inc., announces that James J. Lentz, Jr., of Milwaukee will be the director of the 2010 summer show in Random Lake.

Lentz has a long record of involvement in community theater. Since 1996 he has been director, assistant director or music director of 33 shows in the Milwaukee area.

Currently Lentz is directing a musical that he developed called The King's Rabbits for the Village Playhouse of Wauwatosa. In spring 2010 he will be directing Oliver for the Falls Patio Players of Menomonee Falls, and then Annie for The Shorewood Players of Shorewood.

"I am very excited to be given the privilege to direct with Lakeshore Productions," Lentz said. "The enthusiasm of the people I have met and the reputation of the company itself tell me that it will be a most enjoyable experience. I expect, bringing my talents and melding them with the talents of local artists, we will make this summer's production one to be remembered fondly."

The Lakeshore Productions board of directors hopes to announce the name of the 2010 summer musical by the end of February.
