Serving as director for South Pacific in 2014 will be Kerrylynn Kraemer-Curtiss. Show dates will be July 31, Aug. 1-2-3 at the Random Lake High School auditorium.
She has directed many shows in Sheboygan and Ozaukee counties although this is her first with Lakeshore Productions Inc.
A graduate of Ozaukee High School, Kraemer-Curtiss has been directing since 2000 for numerous theaters. Currently she is the house director and drama chair at the Plymouth Arts Center, and she runs the theater department for the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District.
For the past 20 years she has been coaching and judging forensics for various school districts (currently at the Howards Grove School District).
The Plymouth resident has written several plays including "The Tale of Rumplestiltskin," "After, The Happily Ever After," "The Ghost Elizabeth," "What's the Baby's Name?" and "The Three Rings."
Kraemer-Curtiss said she's looking forward to getting started on South Pacific.
"It's a classic and even though there are more modern and more popular shows out there, it's always good to go back and remember how and why these types of shows became a part of American culture," she states.
