“Bye Bye Birdie” Audition Information

Age 8*- must have completed 2nd grade.

**NOTE: if your preferred audition time slot is full, WALK-INS ARE WELCOME, and we will fit you into your desired time slot to the best of our ability**
STEP TWO:. PRINT AND FILL OUT YOUR AUDITION FORMS/CONFLICT CALENDAR

*IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A PRINTER, HARD COPIES OF THE FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO FILL OUT WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR AUDITION*
STEP THREE: REVIEW MUSIC/AUDITION PREP BELOW
-Auditions will include singing, learning some basic choreography, and possibly reading some lines.
- Singing (8* years old to adult) : Prepare no more than 32 bars of a musical theater or pop-style song of your choosing. An accompanist will be provided if you bring music clearly marked where to start and stop.
- Dancing: Those auditioning will be taught some basic choreography and have to perform it back as a group. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows movement.
- Reading/Acting: Those auditioning might be asked to read some lines from the show. The lines might not be for a part that you’re auditioning for.
Location of auditions, rehearsals and performances:

605 Random Lake Rd.
Random Lake, WI
-You only need to attend one night of auditions.
-People of all experience and abilities are welcome to audition.
-Callbacks (if needed) from Tue and Wed, will be Thur, June 1st from 6pm-8pm. Provide a good email that you check often.
-Everyone will get a part in the show.
-If you do not do so prior to auditions, you will be asked to complete a calendar for June, July and Aug. with your conflicts, so bring your personal calendar to your audition. (see links above for calendar and forms)
The cast list will be sent out via email by Saturday, June 3rd
