Now Accepting Proposals for Our 2027 Production - Our 30th Anniversary
We are switching things up in honor of our 30th anniversary summer production! We are inviting director applicants to submit up to three show choices that they would like to direct for Lakeshore Production’s summer 2027 show. With these proposals, we ask that you provide a brief outline of your vision for each production, as well as how you will bring that vision to life in our community.
Keeping with our mission statement, LPI strives to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for performers of all experience levels. We utilize a no-cut policy, in which all who audition are guaranteed a role in the show. We also allow cast members of all ages starting at age 8, so we ask that all applicants be prepared to work positively and efficiently with a wide range of ages and abilities.
Directors choose their own production staff consisting of an Assistant Director, Stage Manager, Choreographer, Music Director, Pit Band Director, Costume Designer, and Lighting/Sound Director. LPI can provide a list of past professionals we have worked with in prior years to supplement parts of your production team, but we expect for you to furnish most of your own staff. All potential production staff are subject to board approval and criminal background check. All paid positions have a contractual obligation to Lakeshore Productions Inc. and if expectations are not met, the Board of Directors will adjust pay as they deem fit and necessary.
